It’s a battle of unyielding Korean and Japanese pride.

The Korean university team, led by Hannam University head coach Park Kyu-sun, will play the 23rd DENSO Cup Korea-Japan University Football Regular Match at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Anyang Sports Complex.

It’s a rematch. South Korea lost the last meeting at home, 2-1, in September last year. It was the first time Korea was denied a win at home. The all-time record is 8 wins and 1 draw.

South Korea’s squad has been training in Tongyeong, Gyeongsangnam-do, since Sept. 14. This year’s squad boasts superior physicality, 스포츠토토 with an average height of 1.81 meters. It is expected to have a large number of second- and third-year players with excellent skills.

On the 23rd, the Champions League and the DENSO Cup Korea-Korea match for women’s college soccer will be held with first- and second-year players. It is expected to further broaden the scope of the competition.

Meanwhile, Kim Nam-il, Kim Jung-woo, Cho Yoo-min, Kim Min-jae, and others have played in the DENSO Cup.
